When you are setting-up your business you need a Company name before you can do anything.
In the beginning, this becomes an all-consuming problem. We spent (wasted) tons of time and head space plus drank copious amounts of alcohol, trying to decide on a name.
Eventually we ‘got off the pot’ and chose ‘The Name’. We spun into action and within days we had email, a basic web site, a SLACK account. The pressure fell away.
Overtime, we realised that the name wasn’t right, we had a ‘eureka’ moment and changed it. It was a bit a of hassle setting-up new domain names, changing the Bank account details and informing Companies House. It was SO worth it.
I wish I had known at the start that if we didn’t find the right name at the beginning, it wasn’t a big deal.
It wasn’t as if we were changing the name of our child.
